Sold Recta DS 50G compass

Selling an unused Recta DS 50G compass.

This is a very good compass. It can be used as a baseplate compass and as a sighting compass. It has adjustable scala for declination correction and includes Recta's Global System, allowing it to be used in the Southern Hemisphere.

Recta is a Swiss company but owned by Suunto, and their compasses are now made in Finland I think.

The only price information I can find on the internet lists this as £65, but it's out of stock. I'll take £35 including postage and PayPal.

What scales are on the baseplate and can you confirm it's in degrees not mils.

Yes, it's in degrees not mils, and has 1:50,000, 1:25,000 and 1:15,000 scales on the baseplate.

This is a copy (rebrand) of the Suunto MC2-G compass. Same item just different name on this side of the pond. £60 new and an excellent item with everything you might need for navigation with a map. I would love to grab this item if I haven't already purchased Suunto full price...
