Depends on the weight.
If heavy I lift it with both arms and place it on my right knee, then ( stabilized by left hand) put my right arm through, then slide it on the back, then put my left hand through.
If light, I grab it with both hands and hoist it over my head into position, simultaneously sliding both arms into it. It has to be upside down to start of course.
