Penannular brooch

Kind of been busy over the last few days clearing out my head and reducing the length of the 'things to make' list.

A bit hot metal bashing, no burns (amazingly) and fun.



Just a loose blow torch, no forge, 56lb weight anvil, old ball pein hammer, an 'I' and a 'V' letter punch.

Yes 5mm round copper squared off. Brass welding rod sanded a bit first to remove the flux holding marks.

Thought the 2 metals would compliment each other.

Going to try my deadly concoction of bleach, wee, salt and vinegar for a patina!!!!!!!
