Oxygen absorbers question

I want to break down larger packs of nuts and jerky into smaller snack sized vacuum packed bags for travel. I expect to use them for about 2 - 3 weeks into small packs probably about 100g. Can I use the Oxygen absorbers more than once or are they a one use item?

They are reusable until all of the iron is oxidised, in a (truely) air tight container this can be a very long time; its basically iron filings that rusts (oxidises or "absorbs oxygen")

Yeah, but apart from tin cans, its impossible to completely seal them (even plastic is very slightly porous), but they should last allot longer than you'd need them for; depending on how much air and moisture is left in the pack after vacuuming
