Out testing the new Hammock !

Nice day in Phoenix park today - tested the new hammock - well My daughter did - my crappy nylon cord failed on me so i only got to relax for about .9 of a send before i was on the ground ! - Daughter had gone first and had a good 20 minutes whist i made lunch ! ( opened the picnic )

Hey Loz,

I bought 2 hammocks for the latest group buy.

My original hammock, bought from a previous group buy, had tapes pre-fitted. I need to attach some tapes to the other two hammocks and I shall be buying one of those "pump straps" for tensioning loads on vans/lorries etc cheaps as chips and are easy to tie to trees.

Thanks for that , I might try and get something similar - maybe old seatbelts from the scrappy ?

We got 2 hammocks also - one each ( my little shadow comes everywhere !!! ) , but only had some cord today to test with.

Can't wait now to get out for a whole weekend !!!!

Has someone carved a massive 'G' into that tree in the top right hand side of you photo?

I used some webbing from B&Q. It's cheap and does the job without damaging the tree.

lots of the tree around there have letter on them - must be some kind of forestry code.
