Thought I'd post some pics of some carving I was recently commissioned to do. Not very bushcrafty, but I thought you might like a look anyway.

Thanks for the kind words, guys.

They're actually pediments to go above the doorways in a study that the client is having fully panelled in oak. I'm hoping to get some pics of the room when the job is complete, but I'm not doing any on site work so I'll have to wait and see.

They are meant to be different sizes, it's not just my shoddy measuring! Lol

I realy like those!
My Nephew-in-Law (?) does a bit of furniture decoration carving (including Vladimir Putins desk legs ... so you can see he is no beginner...) but I do not think I have seen carving that apeals to me as much as those pediments!
Keep up the good work - and post the pictures!

They are excellent. Do you stick tracing paper on and cut the verticals before the chiselling starts?
Is that American white oak? It looks too clear to be English.

Clearly a man of excellent taste - I wish I could run to that!
