New to wild camping

Hi everyone,
I’m new to the forum and based in London.

I’m off from 18 July for a couple of weeks and I’d like to use some of that time for a backpacking trip with wild camping.

I’ve done a bit of hiking before, but wild camping is new to me, so I’d ideally like to join people who know what they’re doing and are happy for a beginner to come along.

I’m open to joining an existing trip or helping plan something. Can be a little flexible on location and trip length.

Let me know if anyone has anything planned or would be interested.

Can you get to the Summer Moot at the end of this month?

It’s not exactly wild camping, more like a Bushcraft University in the most friendly of settings.

There are so many there who are dyed in the canvas Bushcrafters and who are so willing to share knowledge. Well worth it if you can make it.

Edited to add:
You might not be hiking but you’d be camped in woodland and as isolated or involved as you choose to be.
