Hi All, I’m Tony from North Herts/Cambs border. Getting back into hiking as the kids are older. The little one wants to go wild camping after all the vids I’ve shown him.
Bought a banshee 200 & a Karrimor Predator Tec Mac 50 and got my old kit out. It’s soooo old so I’ve upgraded loads of it with some cheapie kit I ordered from Ali Express expecting it to do us for a while. When it arrived the jet boil pan n stuff were really really good n on par with what I’ve seen in go outdoors and blacks etc for a fraction of the price.
We’re going to get fingers crossed get at least one in this year & then plan for his first real wild camp either in North Wales or The Peack District next year. Both got ex mod winter bags and ground mats we’ve tested out on various Cub Scout camps over the last year. Bloody even when compressed down but really warm.
I’m trying to track down any side pouches for my Predator in olive/blck if anyone’s got any for sale. Either PLCE & the double pouch one.
