My first knife

Hi everyone...

This is my first attempt at making a handle for a blade. The blade was given to me by an Iban friend from Sarawak.
I had a piece of guava wood, so decided to try my hands at making it's handle.

What I started with:

Using an electric drill and some epoxy, I got to this...

I was bored at work the other day, sneaked into the store and spent the entire afternoon turning the handle into this...

Well, what do you think?
Though its my hand work, I doubt if it will replace my Mora anytime soon

Now...what on earth am I gonna do for sheath?
Any ideas?

Hi guys...thanks for the encouragements.
No where near the 'pros' on BCUK yet

I am not sure why the knife was made curved like that though, or is it because of the way I handled it? Any idea what a curve blade like this is normally used for? I tried asking my friend but he hasn't got a clue coz he got it from a native there as well.

Some of these guys are astonishing, but at the end of the day you made a knife that a lot of people would love to own. Nice work, I really like it.

Dont be so hard on yourself it has bags of style IMO at least its not another fulltang clone.
