my first comissioned friction folder

ok my specs were uk legal, tube for for the pivot and woodlore styley and something a bit different from the norm.
so this is what I came up with

sent the pic to mr tat2trev to see if he was happy.

he was and away we went

I wnet for buffalo horn brass liners and brass tubes



















all parts roughed out


my makers mark made by trev. unfortunately because it was stamped onto a file you cant make it out perfectly. but on flat steel its the mutts nuts

all heat treated and ready to be sent to trev for filework









while it was with trev I started on the handle




all filed now




sanded to 250 grit




sanded to 2500 grit and a quick polish




all parts complete ready for assembly


sanded to 12000 grit and all done. ill get some better pics in the daylight tomorrow

Now that's a pretty friction folder well done my friend and thank you.
This will be my EDC for years to come ( kris you exceeded my expectations) and for that I'm truly grateful .

Man that is fantastic, one of the nicest looking friction folders I've seen, the filework on that looks great and I love the buffalo scales too
