First time at handling/fitting scales to a knife.....

Year later update.

I really like this blade, but the handle just wasn’t ‘right’ despite re-working I was still getting hotspots, and I realised it was because it was to thick. I would not have been able to work it down thinner without wrecking the Corby bolts so.....

I re-handled it. Slightly longer handle. Red G10 liners, walnut scales (cut out and made by my brother) with loveless bolts. Slightly thinner, and I slightly skimmed down the but of the knife where it seats into my palm. Lots of coats of BLO to finish over the course of a week or so then a buff on the wheel. Feels nice so far.
