My carving so far (pic heavy)

So just thought id show off some of my spoons etc that I've done so far, with the help of the forum for ideas like raising the grain with hot water and oiling with raw linseed oil.


First up is a spoon made from hawthorn, fairly large designed as a serving spoon.

Next is an apple wood spork

An apple wood spoon/butter knife dubbed the spife

An apple wood curvy spoon, just felt like mixing it up a little.

A hawthorn hutter knife

An applewood spoon

One of my favourites, an ash spoon

And an ash fork

A bit of a rustic almond wood spoon

My new favourite, finished yesterday, Almond again.

And a couple others that I made so long ago I cant remember what they are made from.

Some lovely spoonige there. That apple spork is particularly nice.

I really like the almond ones too, very different to see a darker spoon.
