After a measly 25 years of usage my beloved Tarras has finally bought it.
Completely wrecked and beyond repair.

You know how it is with gear. Stuff comes and goes, but a few pieces remain.
Maybe not the most advanced and practical ones, but those who feel right.

So I am looking for a replacement, canvas with leather trim, in a similar size.
But since I can not afford the three-digit prices of new ones, I am searching
for a second-hand one. Maybe someone here on the forum has one in the
cupboard, no longer in use or needed?

I would be most grateful for any offers.

I just got one of these canvas and leather French haversacks from Endicotts. Perhaps not as large as the Tarras, but I like it.

Not really in the same league as yours though.

Mine isn't quite as old as yours but is nearing the end of its useful life, I have an old Billingham camera bag that I might replace it with, heavier but certainly tougher, worth looking around on ebay or similar for both the Tarras and old Billinghams.
