kinda hard to play round the campfire unless you get two guys good at the balad type stuff on their guitars.
Just don't enjoy having other peoples musical tastes (and usually total lack of ability) imposed on me. Rather like having someone declaim poetry for hours at a time.

Well said Mary , i totally agree ... a good singsong at the fire makes a great nite ...How come that all peoples who live traditional lifestyles, Australian aborigines, Kalahari Bushmen and the like, from the frozen ice to the steaming jungles make music when out and about ?
It's part of being human. Our voices and our music have as much a belonging in the woodlands of our homelands as birdsong.
Music enriches our socialising, and even a solitary wander finds many whistling just for the fun of it![]()
