Plenty of space for a lavvu?

Yup, just grab a bit that's not suitable for hammocks . On the off chance that there isn't a space we should have access to the adjoining field - plenty of space .




Tip for all:

Don't pitch over shallow, dry ditches - they fill with water when it rains .

I know that there used to be a last leaving time (I think it's still in place - ?? 11 - 11.30 p.m ??) - it was put in place due to stop people causing problems for other campers. I think that the earliest time is supposed to be 7a.m - In any case I'll let the crew know that there's likely to be a 'long distance traveller'* arrival at an unspecified early hour.

* Those travelling greater distances have a bit of latitude when it comes to arrival times - common sense in practice .

Even if you have to travel up Clifford Bridge Road! I only get away with it because I should be on site first to book us in and need to be there prior to those travelling proper long distance .

Distances are much longer when you have short legs :theyareon are we on site 11 if so where is the communal area in relation to the original

Follow the path which leads down between PC11 and the Guild Field and look for these large logs

The grass green bit low-upper-mid-ish center patch is the green grass on the Guild Field .

'Borrowing' from Mesquite's post

Kit can be driven* up to the Bill Clarke Cabin/Wheatley (aka Guild) Field, but vehicles need to be left in the Campers Car Park or the over flow car park - the 'wide bit' before you drive up Memorial Avenue (the brick paved bit before the Campers Car Park).

* Check for spaces before diving down - there isn't space to 3 point on the track down

Mid afternoon mate . If we get too many arriving early they'll blanket charge all of us for Day Visit Fees - at the moment they're being lenient on us to help those who have long journeys (multiple hours in 'normal' traffic conditions).

Looks like i'm still coming, and looking forward to it. I'll be arriving by train on the Friday afternoon, then walking to the site doesn't seem that far . Will there be anybody about in the daytime as I think some of you are going to the show on that day, shall I make my self known to the warden. Is any body else going by PTransport?

As Alan said; there'll be people on PC11.

... shall I make my self known to the warden.

I'll be booking us in on the Thursday so you don't need to do that. If you have trouble finding us ask a crew bod - they wear green tops (or Hi-vis) with 'Rough Close' on them - and ask for directions to either BcUK or PC11.

Now that's cruel, there'll be a few of us doing that
