Meindl Arctic Fox

I've never worn breathable desert/summer boots before, but a few weeks back a pair of Meindl desert fox came up in the classifieds on this forum for a good price, and I bought them to give 'em a try. ( Thanks Wulf! ) Up until last week they've been in the kit room awaiting Summer (?), but the other day I got 'em out and thought why not?

I haven't worn anything else since ( on my feet! ) They're the biznezz! Very comfortable and I've not had cold or wet feet, and that's through snow, mud and ice, between 10 and 12 miles each day, most of it off road, these things are GREAT................I only wish I'd got around to it a long time ago..............desert fox AND arctic fox.......great stuff!

Anyone else use these year - round?..........................................atb mac

Remember them well mac,i love them too............i have a pair for best and a second ex issue pair to travel to and from work in.
To be honest i dont wear anything else!!

I had a new pair n wore them once and sold them and got the lowa desert elites which are great boots but i have still to break them in after a few good days wearing them,and fear they could take months of constant use before they feel like lived in.
