Sowester and waders:D I so wish it would stop raining.

I am backpacking with two kids, one tent, one hammock, and woodburning hobo meths stove basket system which works the poring rain and doesn't scorch the ground. They are carring their own kit:)

The site is on the mains water. the wood is mostly pine with silver birch and there is a fishing lake (not game I think).

I would add some sort of anti-midge stuff. Did you have a torch in there? What about toiletries and loo roll. Can be handy for mopping up spills:rolleyes:

Insulating thing-a-me between bag and hammock. Most people use termarests, i think, but you can used a 6 yard kilt, dead sheep, cheap carry mat. Others will give far better advice.

Baby wipes can wash you, your eating utensals, and your stove, wipes your bum clean then they dry out and can be burned. It does matter if the pack get a bit wet, unlike bog roll.

Oh yeah and first aid kit

With the weather we've had lately a waterproof liner for your bergen would be a wise addition if you don't already have one!!
Oh and a set of Waterproofs aswell would be ideal....
