Hi folks.

I got this finished yesterday for a chap on British Blades. Thought i would show it on here.

This one is in 3mm 01, stainless bolster and tubes and black G10 for that handle. No liners this time :)

Hope you like it. Comments/critique welcome :)

Mark :)

Thats very nice - I like it more than the original with the more ergonomic scales. I would go with something like CPM or RWL though......feels like it needs a "super steel"

Wow, I really like that. Is this the one you showed me before the handle was finished when I was up at yours?

Mark's knives and customer service is excellent and he makes great tea, Picked up my set on Thursday :)

Still trying to get the light balance right to show how nice the wood is, but it's perfect.

Could you clear out your inbox please mate :)

Is that the Gladius you were talking about Mark? :D
I think it looks better than the original too.Very clean lines
and contours all ironed out beautifully.
Seriously classy.
Cheers , Simon

Thanks chaps :)

Red- might have a try at some point :) Not enough hours in a day anymore, lol :)

Simon - the gladius will be made soon enough, It just seems the more i try do... the more i end up doing for others and everything i want to try gets put on hold for a bit.... Still, i'm happy to be able to pay the bills :)

Thanks guys. :)

Alf, i never liked the idea of G10 before i started working with it, but it is so strong its unbelievable. It has downsides.... namely it kills my bandsaw blades and the dust is horrid, but it sands easily and is totally impervious to the elements. I like it for those reasons :)
