Hi dudes!
So I'm going on an IOL course for work, and was wondering if there are any good bushcraft books out there that cover lots of, if not all of the topics?

The syllabus covers :
Safe Shelter construction and bedding
Safe use of basic tools and knife Law
Establishing fires by; bow drill, firesteel, flint and steel and others
Leaving no trace
Water Filtering and Purification
Basic Tree ID

My weaker points are tree ID and water filtration/purification. Also natural tinder.

Thanks in advance!

From your list I would buy Bushcraft by Mors Kochanski, and Essential Bushcraft by Ray Mears. Mors's book is my favourite but I think Ray's book is a bit easier to understand generally.

It's probably worth buying a decent tree field guide which is UK specific. I quite like the 'Blacks' guides but even the Collins gem will be good enough to get you started.

Can I ask which course you are doing?

It's the bushcraft practitioner I believe :)
