the video featured Gorbachev and Reagan lookalikes slugging it out in a boxing ring to decide the outcome of the cold war ( i may have got the names wrong??)

i gotta admit the idea had a certain appeal

would our leaders be so eager if that was the way they had to settle disputes?

or would we have a prime minister like joe bugner ?

Blighty has a splendid constitution, but it suffers from a couple of deficiencies.
1. It doesn't exist in a single document with "Constitution" written at the top
2. Successive governments and politicians have done their best to ignore it, schools have failed to inform people about it. Hence there seems to be a collective amnesia regarding Magna Carta and the Bill of Rights.

Magna Carta and the Bill of Rights remain in force today and cannot be implidely repealed.
