Hi all

I needed a chair today, so I made one

It is based on the African style chief chair, I used a saw and axe to make the "paddle" shape then made the slot using a brace and bit and draw knife.

It is surprisingly comfortable, I will tidy it up later with a spoke shave.

Seasoned oak is tough!
