Hi All

I have just received a new 70mm carving blade from Nic, I also had a lump of Yew lying about which I made the handle from.

very tidy, the yew certainly does look nice! :)

what's the bladelike in use? my neighbour bought a crook blade and I thougt it looked very very nice, that mirror polished edge was wicked!

I'm a fan both of Yew as handle material and of Nic's bladesmithing.
I have two spoonies from Nic , one in a Yew handle and one in antler and both are lovely to use.I must treat myself to one of his straight carving blades unless Santa brings one.
Cheers , Simon
