Lentil soup !
chop an onion, a carrot and a stick of celery but dont worry if you dont have all three.
fry in olive oil.
add 12 oz brown or red lentils And 3 pints of stock or water.
cook till done.
whizz up with salt and pepper, juice of a lemon and a teaspoon or two of cumin.
we eat this A LOT and never tire of it.
