My fishing partner caught 14, I got two :(

Boiled this one, probably best way in wilderness, as you get the broth to drink, and you dont waste any of the meat. It just peels off the skeleton.
If you watch Lars monsen do it, he always boils his trout in a bucket.

Man i am very green eyed at the moment ill have to go fishing tomorrow to get me some fish

Everyone to there own i guess buddy

Of course!
When dad introduced me to bushlife in the Swedish mountains, about 45 years ago, we used to fish for trout. Small fish, max 20cm long, usually around 15.
We used to prepare it them two ways. One as described, the other one Gravad, which means marinated in a 50/50 mix of salt and sugar, with some crushed juniper berries (if we found some) from afternoon to next day lunch time. Had them with Wasa Crackerbread.

That is the beauty with fish, there is a huge variety to cook it. As long as everybody is happy!
