I rather like Drambuie, but I don't think they put nearly enough whisky in it. Hence the popularity of Drambuie mixed with whisky - a 'rusty nail' I think it's called.

A Tincture to ease the passing of "person flu" 
1 bottle of Crabbies alcoholic ginger beer warmed gently by the fire.
Add a good slug of whisky.Stir once then sip slowly.
You will sleep soundly all night or have two and sleep through the next day too!
Try it : it really is appallingly pleasant and quite addictive.
