just joined from SOTP, yup another canoeist and bushcrafter from SOTP heartlands.

Looks like a great site, lots of useful info. I look forward to adding to my skills from using this site and hopefully some of us will meet up on a loch somewhere.

I also am a canoeist - level 4 coach in opens - and find the skills go together brilliantly. One day I will (?) try building my own canoe - I have already co operated on building my own Alan Bridges stitch and tape Malamut canoe and make a lot of my accessories - and this will be the ultimate conjunction of the two skill bases!
