Hello, I just signed up for membership to BCUK, looking forward to reading your posts and advice.
About 5 or 6 years ago I found myself taking an interest in edible wild Fungi and this naturally led to an increasing need to interporate features of the landscape, especially trees.
Recently I have expanded my hobby to include wild plants, fauna and bushcraft.
The Scottish Borders is my stompin ground, and I forage the woods and hedge rows in (probably) the most beautiful and abundant area of the country.
I hope to improve my knowledge and awareness of how to take little taste of the countryside and help preserve our resources, from parks to wilderness.
Best wishes to all, Steve, AKA Gadget
