Here to say Hi.
British-Canadian at heart, living in Germland at the moment. Lived close to nature all my life, british grandmother and father taught me the names of all the plants they knew in the fields and woods. Living in Germany currently (and pop over to England now and then) which, from flora and fauna, isn't so different from England (other than the funny names they have for everything) so figgered this could well be an interesting, and above all informative, place to hang my hat.

What else can I add ... Bought a house a year ago, nice golf course garden, am letting it "go" so that I can end up foraging in my own backyard. Amazing after one year the things that are popping up. Nature reclaiming what's hers. Plan is to allow as many edible natives to thrive as possible.
