I don't know these irresponsible parents, kids in the back, no seat belts on.... :p

Very nice mate, shame you're not coming to MM, would have been good to have seen it, although would you have needed a road sweeper to follow it????

Please tell me you will have it at the WG?!? Very cool, just what every country squire needs ;)

What do the kids think of it for the school run?

Errr Stu - That will be why he is going through the ford ;)

Agreed tho - He's a nutter :D

and a POSH 4x4 aint good enough for Jack he has to go one better (SNOB !) and get a 6x4 or is it 6x6 ? or does it go on tyres ? 10x10 or 10x8 hmmm sounds like ideal dimensions for a SHED - funny that....

Cheers
Rich

With one of those who needs bridges.......or roads for that matter.

Hey Jack, any chance you could bring that baby to Hemel for an evening...you see there are all these really badly parked cars just outside. ;) :D ..

"Jack's travelling monster truck show, watch him destroy cars without even dropping and revs" yeah Chris?

I don't think you'd be able to drive that over here, without a police escort.
People can only move their massive caravans on one special day a year aparently.

I spent most of yesterday just looking at it and not saying 'tree' but saying 'truck' , it really is better than I ever dreamed of:D

The truck is beyond my dreams and you wouldn't believe that it is over 60 years old, the condition is wonderful and the straight 6, 4.2 ltr engine is the sweetest that I have heard. It has a 20 ten winch on the front and all of the original guns holster in the cab.

You wouldn't believe how much interest this has created locally. I have been blackmailing my oldest daughter (nearly 15) that I would pick her up from the bus stop if you she doesn't supply with lashing amounts of tea which she has duly done for the last month. Unfortunately for her, we had such a crowd around the truck at the bus stop ( as this is where the truck was dropped off) that we were still there when her bus turned up hour and half later...........supposedly, it isn't cool to have your friends see your dad in an 'old banger'.......what do they know about being cool? :D

To me, there is something so special about owning a serious piece of world history, over half a million of these trucks were built during the war and in 43/44 the where producing them at a rate of 1 every 4 minutes. The were all boxed in kit form and the shipped over to mainland Europe and then they were built in the field. They are very interesting to drive!

Now have to get on with the restoration to take it back 61 years.

Best wishes.

Jack.
