Such a nice post Mike, it shames me into being polite...

I've had so much help and advice from the folk on here, all sharing their hard gained knowledge, that you wouldn't believe. The unexpected generosity and kindness of folk on here has been quite overwhelming. I won't embarrass them by naming them, but they know who they are.

Through a shared interest in bimbling in the woods, I've met really knowledgeable and skilled folk and I've made some great friends too.

It's my favourite site on the internet. (It is honestly!).

I hope you get as much out of it as I have.

Oh yes...still the only place I visit with any regularity...good folks, good advice and good cheer...even when disagreeing...the way it should be...
