Already spent hours wandering the site and thought I better say hello!
Bit about myself, I'm a conservation volunteer and get plenty of chances to muck about in the outdoors. Getting loads of ideas from here and I will start saving some of the good wood we chop down! I'm curently making a bushcraft style knife. Thanks to Ray Mears for the template that I photocopied from his book!
I'm from Bradford and near my house I am blessed with some pretty good old woodland where I've really got into fungi foraging. The results have been tasty! Anyone else on here from Bradford or Leeds where I sometimes am? Perhaphs there should be someway of searching for people near you so people with similar passions can meet up. Just an idea.
