Hatchet Sheath Prototype

Breaking my lurking cover to show some attempts at leatherwork and my newly-rehung Brades hatchet:

Prolly going to do the same for my axe, when I get round to it, as it's a bit tatty. Apologies for horrid rivets and other flaws, but you get the idea. Brass ring is for hanging anywhere or onto a belt clip. I get the general consensus that attaching an axe anywhere on one's body is a bad idea, but the cover seems pretty sturdy. The retaining thong could break, I suppose, but I prefer it to popper snaps. Any thoughts?

Like Hamish says that's a nice solid looking bit of kit. Should hang well from the clip I imagine. (Any chance of a pic of it on the belt?)
