Has anybody dyed over nubuck shoes?

The local cobbler near me sells dye for nubuck leather so it must be ok to do.

I,ve dyed plenty of leather for sheaths etc Wulf , just wondering because i am wishing to change the colour and also so it does not run when wet etc.

I would imagine theres a 'sealing' agent available......nikwax waterproofer maybe?
