So know what you mean, except that Toby of TP knives leant me a catalogue today which is pure porn when it comes to tools. I haven't got past the Japanese saws chapter yet and I'm drooling already!

Glad to read you had such a good time. Hope the new camera becomes a reality too. Have you tried those digical things yet, I hear they're pretty good. no waiting about outside the chemist for your prints to be developed.

i know! we have a chain of woodworkers warehouses over here called axminster, i could spend hours in there. but its a bit like camping in the woods, do i really need more than a tarp to achieve and enjoy it?

as for digital, i converted years ago after having nikon and bronica roll film gear, still blinkin expensive!
