nearer summer u can get them in the poundshop and they are pretty gd, had mine about 3 years and only a very smal chip on the plate so far, mug and a bowl still in gd nick

I've been thinking of going back to enamel mugs and plates etc., my Gran had a lot of cookware (ashets etc.) that was enamelled, I suppose they'd be okay on an open fire?

I'll too thank for the links.

I used enamelled stuff when I was in the cubs years and years ago, don't know what ever happend to it.

I'm in need of a couple of new plates so I'll probably get a couple.
