Gained a Draw knife today

Chatting with my grandad last weekend over dinner i mentioned draw knives and he said he had one from his apprentice days
this weekend he brought it over and gave it to me!
result really and nice to have a tool with family connection
just need to give it a sharpen
i'll post photo's tomorrow or tuesday just wanted to share my good fortune/ gloat

i managed to blag my great great grandfathers Awl a while back one of the merits of having a family that hoards stuff on the off chance it might one day be useful
you're right steve it is nice using family tools like they are carrying on what the family member started
