I have asked my good lady to keep the net bags she gets the fruit in at the supermarket. I thought they could be recycled and made into something. However I've now got a dozen or so and no idea what to make apart from a fishing net, but that's tedious work. Has anyone made anything with them before.

Stitch a fabric hem around the open end with a pull-tight cord running through it. When foraging, pop your goodies in there, pull the top tight and fasten to your belt. Lets air in, doesn't crush your supper and is easily washed afterwards. If the weaving is small enough, it will even hold hazel nuts.

Also useful for spin-drying your wet socks. Wash your socks, put in little bag, tie the top closed and spin all the water out above your head (away from your camp and supper).
