Nah - goatees are for goats - never went there myself... my jaw has always been hairy, not just my chin :)
I never did get any Tats either... just not my thing.
Full beard and scars thats my style!

I got the reference the first time you said it. I'm slow but not that slow. I'm sure in this case pin-striping has another beard related meaning... perhaps rather like was this numpty is sporting on his face.

well I did wonder.... but that comic strip is "old" - it's more likely to be referring to the kind of ne'er do well who would ride a motorbike and grease back his hair.

On my first look I reckoned the comic to be old but figured the text was changed. I didn't think people casually dropped 'oldschool' into conversations back in the day. I took the pinstriping to mean manscaping as well, not just facial hair but tram lines in eyebrows and on fades. Could well be wrong though, I'm not as down with whatta gwarning as I once was.

I love the fact that every time I see that guy I can't help but shout CRAAAAIG DAAAAVID! in a Bo Selecta style.
