Is this the black foil thing that folds flat? I think I got it from surplus and outdoors for around a tenner. I still have it, not going to use it so happy to dog it out for someone and move it on

I got one several years ago to try, it’s okay for a brew but that’s it, I tried it with hexy and dragon gel stuff

I admit to being interested. I think people have reported the original stove being more robust than you would expect so I hope changes don't effect that.

My pet theories are:

1) Different internal foil (but I think they had sourced the original).

2) Resized or changed to fit other pots better? I can see that being appealing for sales.

3) It's now Hello Kitty themed!

Sorry, I forgot my phone so didnt take any photos of it in action. Will take a photo of it as is today.

I haven’t used my crusader cookset for a good few years now (probably since before covid) and I now remember why I don’t bother with it anymore, also the fire dragon blocks are meh they don’t put out super heat and it took 2 of them to boil 500ml water this morning.

Will stick to my jetboil or stick stove/ghillie if I can have a fire
