A few months ago I was fortunate enough to win the bought blade section of the knife making competition kindly run by one of the mods here.
At the time I promised to show some pics of the knife and finished firesteel with sheath.
Well, I've finially finished them

And with a more standard size bushcraft knife, the Spyderco Bushcrafter for comparrison

Hope you like it.
It's the first time I've tried making something out of completely man made parts and it was fun

Thanks

Mark

Thanks all, much appreciated
I did enjoy it and yes, I am proud of it. Certainly pleased with the way it turned out

I wondered about wrapping some paracord around the sheath held in place by going through the rivets.
What do you think?

Biker

Bushcrafter (boy, I've got a lot to say!)
That's a right beast that is. Very nice!

About the paracord, to be honest I've never been a huge fan of Kydex, I find it rather bland, so I'd be inclined to go with the paracord wrap just to break up the flat planes of it. It's not as if it's a permanent thing either, so if it looks pants you can always take it off again.

Lovely knife Mark, well done.
