othello - This is a hard one as most people have only got one or the other, and in some ways they are quite alike. If you had double bevelled and single bevel, full tang rat tang etc you may get more feedback...maybe...I could be very wrong and everyone may have a strong opinion :naughty:

OOOH!

I can't click 'em both!
I been trying for ages but I'm just not quick enough!

Seriously, I lile 'em both. I have more experience of the puuko, as I've not had my Woodlore very many hours yet. I think either is just about fine.

Sorry, that's not much help, is it? But I'm at work and bored

eeek, bugger of a vote that.
Like Tony said, i don't think it's a very fair comparison.

Question is a bit strangely worded too.
I "like" the Woodlore one more, but i "like" the price of the Puukko more.
If i had unlimited money (hell i'd get both!) then i'd go for the Woodlore .............. so i'll be getting a Puukko!

I have both and went for the Woodlore. The Woodlore feels far more robust and I'm more confident with it. The only problem is that the blade is maybe a mill or so too thick.
Now if the question had included the Mora Clipper....

Puukko rules:

1. It's 30 quid.
2. Ideal for learners/beginners.
3. Holds good edge.
4. You could carry a spare.
5. It's 30 quid!!!
6. Erm.....
7. ...that's it.

I'm getting a Pukko for my better half...She likes the look of it so I'll be able to do the Head to Head with my Bison Bushcraft when it arrives :-D
