Our back roads, the logging roads, are very good when there's active logging and hauling.
Maybe 80 kph on the flats. You do need a radio open on the active channel to avoid getting killed.

Off the highway, 12' wide loads are allowed and 80'long. Those truckers own the road.
We use bridges instead of snorkels. Custom built, the bridges can be installed for 6 weeks and pulled.

Not so much. The attraction of the tactical pen to edc prepper types is because it’s a kubotan with an excuse to carry because it’s a pen. It’s guaranteed not one of them knows the martial art technique of actually using it on pressure points either.

It’s worth looking at this Wiki page on what is basically a 6” stick and wondering if £300 worth of titanium pen with glass breaker is more effective than a Bic biro and a Res-Q-Me glass breaker/strap cutter keyring tool, or worth the hassle.

I know it's a Kubotan substitute.....i didn't read all those issues of combat and survival for nothing!!! Lol

Mind, I might joke about the Tactical pens and other assorted tat weapons people carry about but as I'm a carpenter I carry a fair bit of gear in my tool pouches every working day.

20 Oz Estwing ripclaw hammer.
Compound action end cutting nips which can cut through a Paslode first fix nail or pull it out.
Stanley knife.
Chalkline.
Pencil.
Lumber crayon
Catspaw claw bar for removing nails from framing and general levering stuff.
Small adjustable spanner. Usually for opening Heras fencing or moving the occasional scaffold tube.
Nailpunch.

Then all my main tools live in the toolsafe of my van which is my main means of transport so often pretty close.

Still theres no tactical glass breakers in there, I mean hell I work in construction and occasionally do demolition and its very rare indeed for me to actually want to break glass with a stabby thing. I just don't live in zombie filmworld I guess.

Yeah, well. I have em on me cos they're useful on a daily basis, some items change from time to time, for instance I don't carry my chalkline if I'm doing second fix/finishing work and so on.
If Im doing shuttering/concrete formwork I often have a bigger hammer and I'll carry a bigger crowbar (not in my toolpouches though) to strip shutters.
If I find an item doesn't get used for too long it gets left in my toolbox and too long in the box and it gets sold/given away as useless to me.

Somehow I doubt my high roller lifestyle is the stuff of advertisers dreams so I'd be amazed to see my kit pop up in GQ.
I dont have a bracelet with allen key links either.
