in the thought process of if the cheapo and nasty bendy aluminium tent pegs could re repurposed for pot holders for over the camp-fire

would this be possible and viable to do by coiling one end that resembles a spring to hook over a pole or stick for self holding...??

yes, as a source of metal but the chances of being able to straighten them out to use as pegs again is probably a no go!
