Dryad's saddle

Hello all,Has anyone tried a dryad's saddle fungi as i found one the other day, growing on a beech tree. I didnt try it as was not to sure what to do with it but i did know it was edible.Any suggestions????

Never tried one myself but I understand they're not particularly tasty. Okay in soups etc

apparantly like eating old leather, idk if they can be used as a strop membrane or tindeR??

I had a nibble, think of the oyster mushrooms you get in the stores.
