I think its use in the third world could be good but i dont think it would pass muster in the general western population. Saying it filters 99% of bacteria tells you the micron filter is not rated low enough. Pretty much all of the water filters we use filter all bacteria. Id also be dubious over the filter life claims too. Filter mediums clog very quickly with poor water
