Do you make a living out of bushcraft?

How many of you consider themselves making a living out of bushcraft? Or would like to, or just like it as a hobby. just wondering..

Hmm.. Bushcraft is part of what I make a living from so I'm not sure how I would vote there.

Needs a category for part timers I think....

I'm with Wayland. While I primarily make my living making and teaching the making of edged tools/knives, 'bushcraft' skills are used and taught as part of my everyday life/living

Of the choices listed, I would say Yes I do.

Some of my blacksmithing work is modern, but the majority is historically based. And I also go to Living History gatherings where I do demonstrations, talks/lectures, and also sell what I make. These are all living and using the old crafts and skills, and a lot of that is out in the "wilderness". So the answer would be Yes.

Just my humble thoughts to share.

My knife is shiney, in patches, and is great for spreading butter...
My bum always ends up touching the ground when I sling my hammock...
My tarp doesn't cover my hammock...
My bannock always burns...
My idea of tree identification is "Big One", "Little One", "Oak" and dead...
My guts would never survive me trying to forrage..
My fire steel is limp...
My rucksack is complety rucked...

But I can light a decent fire, using only a turbo lighter and a pack of fire lighters...

Not much chance of making a living there then

I think there are many bushcraft widows, not just ours mate.

I envy all of you who love your work.
