Diy paint can wood gas stove

Woke up early after my last night shift and to keep myself busy i had a bash at making a woodgas stove from a couple of cans. Just need to sort out a pot stand now.

I'd burn off all the paintwork on the outside if you're using it for foody stuff

This thread has renewed my interest in making one of these stoves! One question, how important are the top ring of holes of the inner can?
