I went in a Dave Budd blade making course about a month ago and had a great day with Dave.
We made three blades each and of course mine are the less well finished ones but I am very proud of them and I will start putting handle on them soon.

The top three are of course Dave's but they too are not finished in the photo

Thanks for that Micheal
I will be putting a handle of masur birch and reindeer antler on at least one then fitting it with a scandi sheath and the other will be similiar.

I will post my progress but first is to try and tidy up the bevels.

looking forward to seeing how these turn out :) when I get around to finishing the blades I made I'll put them up on here for sale (blades only).

BTW, Alf hasn't mentioned that 2 or those blades are laminated too!

Blades are looking fine mate.
Dave is a great guy and a good teacher.
I spent my stag weekend on a course with him and been mates since.
