If I may....

Mandy is kindly organizing a pot of stew for maybe the friday night (?) after a few ale's have been sunk. Nom, nom!
I'm doing a pot of minestrone (non vegetarian but could separate a bowl if needed) for Saturday lunchtime.

Saturday evo, Alistair has kindly ordered a large chunk of piggy-wiggy which we are going to half smoke (Cuban style) through the Saturday lunchtime, and then throw into a Hangi to finish off. Once done it will be served in wraps with coriander vinaigrette and lettuce.

Lucy has kindly offered to grab some snorkers (sausages) and eggs, Paul has kindly offered to grab some bacon and rolls for a fry-up Sunday morning.

Various other people (sorry if I've forgot to mention you, its alot to remember!) have offered to bring anything form wine to marshmallows and a rather interesting desert by the sounds of it!

You are not obliged to bring, or eat anything! Its just a bit of fun that seemed to go down well last time :)

It will be considered more of a taster if you wish to partake, rather than main meals so extra provisions are advised!

I've Just nipped out to the local market to organise some Pomeroy Rare Breed Farm sausages - some with black pepper and red onion. I may be able to bring some tomatoes from work if anyone would like them with the fry-up, depends on what we have available, and if any cooking apples would help the mysterious dessert I can pick loads, we have a tree heaving with them at work - I suppose they count as a bit wild! If they aren't used by us, the pigs will have them all and they are too fat already!

Ooow, I'm looking forward to pomeranian sausage :p

One of the desserts I have lined up, uses crabapples from the moors, but a couple cooking apples would make a sweeter addition, so feel free to bring a couple over. Shouldn't need more than 2 or 3.

Much appreciated LR.

Well 1 I have never been clever enough to copy and paste anything , as i am not a decorater , so i hope to be bringing .
12 acres of mixed woodland , on the edge of Dartmoor , with a clear stream running through the middle , no noise or light pollution ,the freshest air you have breathed , safe and secure parking , a safe and happy environment to practice what we all love doing ,firewood, materials for some crafting ,no pressure , ground dwell or hang wherever you want , no long list of rules to obey ,maybe a bit of local knowledge , a bit of entertainment , hopefully all the heavy items you would not want to carry, and most of all provide a place that we like minded souls want to revisit time and time again, so heres to the last Dartmoor meet of 2011, and looking forward to many more in 2012.

Once again you lot , thanks for supporting a bit of a dream , and i am sure we will all be doing this again soon , i have a few plans for future meets up my sleeve at some at other stunning venues , within this beautiful part of the world , so watch this space .
ps i might even try and prvide something worth eating / drinking or remembering , roll on the meet ...
