Like Mike, I wear Specialist Crocs at work in hospitals. The rest of the time I'm in offroads unless I have my boots on:

Crofters use Crocs a lot up here in the summer. The old alternative was wellies to keep your feet dry tromping through peat bogs, across burns and in and out of boats. Now with crocs you just embrace getting wet, knowing you'll dry out quickly and without discomfort.
One word of warning - they suck in snow.
